Eddie's Familiar Places CD is a Contemporary Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, acoustic ensemble with classic and electric guitars; Light rock, jazz and blues with heartfelt vocals, and a pinch of Brazil. It consists of one original tune, Two More Hearts, and 5 standards, Yesterday, Joy Spring, What a Wonderful World, Yesterday Instrumental, and Why I Sing the Blues. Eddie mixes a variety of styles to express his feelings through his music. He wants his listeners to sit back, relax, and enjoy these Familiar Places. Eddie's Say Thank You CD was designed to be an introduction to a chronicle of 100 years of American music. It starts out with a cover of Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer", which has been heard in the movie with Paul Newman and Robert Redford 'The Sting'. The Entertainer was published in 1904.

Eddie Thrash brought The Entertainer into the current day by writing lyrics for it, including the phrase which describes Eddie's style and the flavor of Say Thank You, "A Lit'l Bit of Blues, A Lit'l Bit of Soul, and A Lit'l Bit of Jazz and Rock & Roll".

Say Thank You goes from Ragtime from 1904, through Gospel (You Are So Beautiful), through Folk (Your Smiling Face), through smooth Jazz (The Cat's Meow), through light Rock, Latin Jazz and Blues (Two More Hearts), and jumps with both feet into Rock & Roll (Life in the Fast Lane).
