Living Skills Therapy & Publishing: Jacqueline has had funny feet all her life with numerous surgeries and time off work recuperating. Eddie recommended we call the company Funny Feet to honor her perseverence and tenacity. Later we changed the name to Living Skills Therapy & Publishing. Jacqueline believes in maximizing the living skills of her clients, as well as increasing the knowledge of the treating therapist. She started Living Skills Publishing to provide additional resources to the OT, PT, and ST clinician and student. We specialize in publishing, teaching people how to retain control of their own booklets and how to self-publish. Because therapy and education are two important services of Living Skills Therapy & Publishing in Burbank, California, our occupational therapist, Jacqueline Thrash, provides both therapy consultation services and educational inservices. Just contact us to discuss consultation, for educational inservices or curriculum development.
Education & Consulting: If you want to put together a seminar, course, or online class that is therapy-related, just bring us the information. We can put it together to develop the curriculum. Additionally, if you need ideas or have a problem, Jacqueline can provide solutions. Or we can hold a seminar at your rehab center or skilled nursing facility teaching staff how to use native languages during evaluation and treatment, which is covered in our language translation book, "Common Phrase Translation: Spanish for English Speakers for Occupation Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy."
